Students who need clothes for an interview, career fair or professional event can peruse donated business attire, try on the items, and keep them free of charge during Penn State Mont Alto’s Career Closet during the afternoons of Nov. 1 to 3 in the Wiestling Hall Student Center.
Forestry student Brody Hetrick, along with Amy Fisher Wiebley, 11/30 Network chamber liaison, and Patricia Gochenauer, Penn State Mont Alto career counselor, open the Career Closet with a ribbon cutting.
“No matter what size your gift, its generosity is felt, cherished and wonderfully appreciated,” said Kerri Toms ’19, Human Development and Family Studies, recipient of the Penn State Mont Alto Advisory Board Trustee Scholarship.
“I believe I am being an example to my children and showing them that no matter your age or stage in life, you can accomplish your goals and dreams if you persevere and work hard,” said Mandy Cook, Occupational Therapist Assistant, recipient of The Joe & Carolyn Ausherman Trustee Matching Scholarship.
“My family and I are exceedingly grateful,” Dominic Lenzi, Forest Technology, recipient of the Penn State Mont Alto Advisory Board Trustee Scholarship.
